I stole this idea from a joke @celebrityhottub made and I apologize for nothing. I filled out my bracket by picking teams based on where I’d rather live. Synopsis:

- The West is TERRIBLE. So bad that New Mexico (Albuquerque) comes out of that region.

- The top half of the South was brutal. Kansas v Western KY?? VCU v Akron?? S Dakota St v Michigan?? No thanks on any of them.

- My Final Four is St Mary’s, New Mexico, San Diego St and Cal. SDSU v St Mary’s in the Final with SDSU edging out St Mary’s.

- This tells me I definitely need to resume my search for California-based employment.

1. I am confident to the point of being positive that I would have cleaned up in the early rounds of Where In the World is Carmen Sandiego. I am also confident that had I made it to the final round where the contestants had to put the flags on the maps as the country name was called out, I would have been given Africa and would’ve bombed out.

2. I keep claiming in arguments that “NO ONE IS SAYING WE’RE GOING TO TAKE ALL OF YOUR GUNS” but deep down inside, I really wish someone would just come in and take all of your guns.

3. I believe that Antics is twice the album that Turn on the Bright Lights is.

4. I’ve never seen Pulp Fiction all the way through. I’ve made it to the (first?) heroin scene and that’s it. This is for a couple of reasons. One is that I’m a snotty person and am instantly skeptical of things that are universals. This movie has a universal “OMG YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS MOVIE” reaction. Second is that Samuel L. Jackson just isn’t that funny to me.

5. I stopped using the serial comma because I noticed it in The Economist and I like imagining myself as having as inflated a sense of self importance as my favorite magazine does.
